[MONCTON, NB] — The union representing locked out workers at Acadian Coach Lines says it has reached a tentative contract deal with the company.
The Amalgamated Transit Union distributed an email early this morning saying the two sides had reached a deal, but no details were released.
The Montreal-based company locked out 59 workers in New Brunswick and P.E.I. on Dec. 2.
Acadian has not offered intercity bus service in the two provinces since then.
The email from union president Glen Carr says the union will present the deal to its membership with the next few days — but there was no word on when service could resume in the two provinces.
